The Colour TFT Dash Logger for Motorsports
Aim MXG 1.2 is the new dash logger designed to acquire and display data coming from your engine ECU, the internal accelerometer, gyro, and from the GPS Module included in the kit. Analog/digital inputs and predefined math channels.
Performance and data acquired can also be incremented adding up to eight expansion modules. The only difference between the two is the MXS is a compact 5″ display and Aim MXG 1.2 is a 7″ display, a better fit for wide cockpit installations.
A dash logger for road use which is also available as an IVA approved kit.
With the CAN Output you can send messages directly to an existing CAN network in order to improve the range of vehicle control possibilities.
Freely Configurable Pages
You can define all the custom pages you wish, choosing among a wide library of page styles, defining which data to be shown, their end of scale and measure units. Swapping between pages can be managed pushing one or two push buttons.
High Contrast 7'' TFT Display
The MXG 1.2 Motorcycle Dash Data logger features a high contrast 7″ TFT display, fully configurable by a dedicated software. An ambient light sensor keeps the back-light at optimum brightness levels.
MXG 1.2 features eight configurable RGB alarm LED’s. You choose the conditions, you choose the colours. Select a solid alarm or flashing alarm along the flashing frequency. Choose to have an accompanying text message and set the alarm priorities.
Two Digital Outputs
Aim MXG 1.2 Motorcycle Dash Data logger features two digital outputs. Each of them can give an output of 1 amp at 12 volts: they can be configured in order to be turned on/off depending on the value of the analogue or digital inputs. They permit to automatically run external systems, i.e. to switch on/off additional lights, to activate/de-activate a cooling fan or circulation pumps, etc. when a certain event happens.
Camera inputs, also for mirror camera
Two analog camera inputs are available, to swap your display into a mirror camera, through pushbutton command or event management.
Integrated Shift Light Array
Choose from a host of advanced multicoloured RGB shift light patterns that can be customized to your liking, and for each unique gear when required. Using the built-in CAN bus, you can add expansion modules to the Aim MXS to increment the performance and the data acquired:

Thanks to GPS08 Module (included in the kit) and its Race Studio 3 software, you can immediately get laptimes and all data needed for engine tuning as well as for improving driving technique.
It permits to add 4 0-5Volt analog channels for pressure, temperature sensors and potentiometers. Two of these channels can be configured to receive digital inputs like wheel speed.
It adds 4 K thermocouples.
Wide band Lambda controller LCU-One, with Bosch LSU 4.9 probe, providing all Air/Fuel data and lambda value, allows to perfectly tune the carburetion.

With Race Studio 3 you can create, modify, delete, import and export configurations with all channels, ECU drivers, Math channels, Display Pages, Digital outputs, Alarms, Shift Lights and all the expansions you need. You will also be able to manage the map of all your racing tracks and compare two laps watching the video recorded by SmartyCam HD cameras.
With Race Studio 3 you can also analyse all data recorded by MXG 1.2 and downloaded to your PC: graphs, histograms and tables will help you study your performance, providing an objective support to avoid mistakes and improve performances.
