The numberplate holder in carbon fibre for the Aprilia Tuono V4 & RSV4 is not only significantly more subtle and of higher quality in its design - it also offers enormous advantages from a technical point of view. The use of carbon of the highest quality enables a significant increase in stiffness while at the same time reducing weight enormously.

Improvements compared to the original have also been made in the design. Almost invisible, but still easily accessible, there is an adjustment option for the license plate angle hidden on the inside. In this way, it can be ensured that the license plate is at the legally permitted angle to the road, even with a wide variety of loads and conditions

In order to obtain a harmonious overall picture, the fibre layers are inserted and aligned in the mold by experts. The carbon part fits perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more Ilmberger parts that are installed and combined, the more overwhelming the result.

Ilmberger carbon parts are made exclusively in the latest, state-of-the-art manufacturing process out of carbon fibre prepreg weave in the autoclave. This procedure is also used to produce all of the high performance parts for the Moto GP and Formula 1 racing vehicles.

As with all Ilmberger carbon parts, it features a clear TUV certified coating, this not only improves the appearance, but also protects the carbon fibre from scratching and has a unique UV resistance (with the exception of Racing parts).
