The sprocket cover is one of the most underrated components on the whole motorcycle. Installed centrally on the motorcycle, it surrounds the chain sprocket and does more than it might seem at first glance. It protects the engine and many other components from flying grease while driving. This is particularly stubborn as dirt and difficult to remove from the soft surface of the original part. A hard surface, as it occurs with high-quality carbon, is more suitable here.
The component can utilise its full potential not only technically, but also optically. Installed in just a few minutes, the value of the motorcycle is increased enormously. In order to obtain a harmonious overall picture, the fibre layers are inserted and aligned in the mold by experts. The carbon part fits perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more Ilmberger parts that are installed and combined, the more overwhelming the result.

Ilmberger carbon parts are made exclusively in the latest, state-of-the-art manufacturing process out of carbon fibre prepreg weave in the autoclave. This procedure is also used to produce all of the high performance parts for the Moto GP and Formula 1 racing vehicles.

As with all Ilmberger carbon parts, it features a clear TUV certified coating, this not only improves the appearance, but also protects the carbon fibre from scratching and has a unique UV resistance (with the exception of Racing parts).
