The Wheelcover kit improves the aerodynamics of the Motorcycle. The airstream around the front wheel is less turbulent can stream more easily to the parts behind. Not only the total air resistance is reduced, but also the water and oil cooler can get more fresh air.
The wheelcover kit includes one wheelcover per side and the needed holders. For mounting it is required to take out the front wheel.
For the best experience Ilmberger recommend to use also the KVO-006-M123S-K front fender.
The parts are made exclusively in the latest, state-of-the-art manufacturing process out of carbon fibre prepreg weave in the autoclave. This procedure is also used to produce all of the high performance parts for the Moto GP and Formula 1 racing vehicles.
As with all Ilmberger carbon parts, it features a clear TUV certified coating, this not only improves the appearance, but also protects the carbon fibre from scratching and has a unique UV resistance (with the exception of Racing parts).
