The progressive design slows the initial throttle opening, giving the rider greater control during low-speed riding, corner exits and changing road or track conditions. As the throttle is opened further, the cam profile progressively returns towards the standard ratio, allowing full throttle to be reached at or close to the original amount of throttle rotation. This means improved control without restricting the motorcycle’s maximum performance.

A G2 Throttle Tamer is particularly useful on motorcycles with abrupt or sensitive throttle response. The smoother initial action can make it easier to manage traction, reduce unwanted throttle snatch and apply power more accurately.
