An R&G kickstand shoe fits securely to the base of the original side stand, creating a larger contact area to help reduce the risk of the stand sinking into surfaces such as grass, gravel, hot tarmac or loose ground. This makes it a practical upgrade for everyday road bikes, touring motorcycles and adventure machines.

R&G Kickstand Shoes are designed for model-specific fitment and typically use a precision-machined base plate and clamp system to attach securely to the original side stand without permanent modification. R&G’s own fitting instructions show the shoe mounting around the original stand foot using an aluminium base plate, clamp plate and securing bolts.
