The factory EVAP system captures fuel vapours from the fuel tank using a charcoal canister and purge valve. When converting a motorcycle for competition use, removing this system can reduce unnecessary components, free up space and simplify the motorcycle’s emissions hardware.

SmartMoto EVAP Eliminator Kits combine an electronic purge valve eliminator with the required removal hardware, allowing the original charcoal canister, purge valve and associated hoses to be removed without triggering the related FI warning light or ECU fault codes.

Depending on the motorcycle application, kits may include plugs, caps, hoses, stainless hardware and other components required to complete the EVAP removal cleanly. SmartMoto electronic eliminators use OEM-style connectors for straightforward plug-and-play installation.

These kits can also provide a solution where the original purge valve has failed, allowing the factory valve and EVAP system to be removed while preventing the associated ECU error.
