BMW R1300GS Adventure - (2024-2025) Akrapovic Titanium Decat Header Set

Developed as an upgrade to complete a full system when paired with the Akrapovic Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust, this header is constructed from high-grade titanium with a carbon-fibre heatshield it enhances performance and reduces weight.

Tubes with a bigger diameter than the standard stock system and removal of the catalytic converter allow for enhanced gas flow. The pre-silencer offers a unique sound experience, producing a deep racing tone from the boxer engine. This upgrade results in a 54.84% (3.4 kg) weight reduction compared to standard stock. When combined with the slip-on kit (Titanium), it boosts power by 3.1 kW (4.2 bhp) at 7,800 rpm and torque by 5.9 Nm at 3,000 rpm, as tested on the Akrapovic dyno against a BMW R 1300 GS equipped with a standard stock exhaust system. Installation is plug-and-play, but remapping is required.

The optional header is also compatible with the Akrapovic standard (first fit) / BMW Motorrad accessory Akrapovic silencer. With installation of the optional header, ECE type approval for the slip-on kit is no longer valid.

When installing the Optional Header on Euro5+ motorbikes (models with pre and post catalytic converter lambda sensors), the motorcycle's electronics will detect that the catalytic converter has been removed and thus will illuminate the informative cat warning light

For perfect performance, rideability, and durability, special electronic equipment developed with Rapid Bike by Dimsport may be used.

Rapid Bike's new Smart2 fuelling device makes it possible to avoid potential check engine light issues while optimising the power delivery, personalising the riding experience, and offering a diagnostic tool to the user.
